How the Trust operates
Poolside at Le Manoir

The Trust's method of operation is to purchase Holiday Property Bonds in overseas and UK properties which are adapted for the severely disabled.

The Trust works closely with the HPB Management Ltd of Newmarket at the development stage of their projects so that the needs of the disabled are taken into account during construction of both a particular property and an associated holiday complex.

The aim is to encourage disabled people to be integrated into holiday developments which are primarily for the use of able-bodied people and to promote holidays in the area where there is a choice between a restful break and full participation in normal holiday and social activities.

The Trust undertakes the overall co-ordination of the programme of holiday reservations and in special cases will consider provision of financial support for individual holiday makers.

"I have just come back from a wonderful holiday in Rocha Brava, and this is to record my sincere thanks to you and your organisation. The accommodation was first rate (with what amounted to our own private swimming pool) and the enormous disabled toilet by my bedroom was christened the 'games room' it was so well equipped - I am not sure even now what some of the gear was for."
